Keep your Ad Grants account healthy
Clear out the keywords the grant rules don't allow
Grantkeeper lists the keywords that break the Ad Grants keyword rules, pauses the ones you pick, and drafts better phrases for the same program.

Find the keywords that break the rules
Google's keyword policy for grant accounts says keywords with a Quality Score of 1 or 2 can't be used, single-word keywords aren't allowed apart from brand terms and a few other exceptions, and overly generic phrases are out. The policy also says Google can pause keywords that break these rules on its own, without a notice.
Grantkeeper reads every keyword that hasn't been removed and lists the live ones that need action, with their campaign and ad group. Your own brand words, set during setup, are not flagged. A keyword with no Quality Score yet is not treated as a low one, since new keywords often have no score.
The list shows each keyword's ad group, status and score, so you can see which program it belongs to before deciding.
Replace, then pause
Pausing alone can leave a program with nothing to show for. For each flagged keyword, Grantkeeper suggests two or three phrases that name the program and the place, in the same ad group, so the ads there still match. It checks that those ads use similar words, and points out any that don't.
When you say which to pause, Grantkeeper pauses each one right away and adds the replacements as paused keywords, phrase match unless you ask for another. Switch the new ones on in Google Ads. The next weekly check shows whether any flagged keywords are still live.
Fictional example: a youth center's “after school” keyword has a Quality Score of 2 because it sends people to the homepage. Grantkeeper suggests “after school program Elm Grove” and “free homework help Elm Grove,” both pointing to the program page, and notes that the group's ads should say “after school program” in a headline.
Run the cleanup before the last week of the month, so the changes have time to show in that month's click rate. The keyword rules guide explains the policy in more detail.

What you send
Ask for the keyword cleanup, or reply to a weekly check that flagged keywords.
What Grantkeeper prepares
A list of flagged keywords with their campaign and ad group, replacement phrases, and paused drafts of the new keywords.
What to keep in mind
Flagged keywords are paused when you say so. New keywords start paused, and you switch them on in Google Ads.
