How is our Ad Grants account doing this month?

I’ll check this month’s click rate, conversions, keywords and bidding.

Monthly Ad Grants check

Animated demo · fictional organization

Free Google ads,
with rules to keep.

Google Ad Grants gives eligible nonprofits free ads on Google Search. Google runs the program, decides who qualifies and asks every account to keep a few rules each month. Grantkeeper checks them every week and builds new campaigns to match. Google still decides approval, clicks and results.

  1. A 5% click rateCounted across the whole account each month. Two months in a row below it can get the account deactivated.
  2. One real conversion a monthA donation, a signup or a volunteer form, tracked correctly.
  3. No Quality Score of 1 or 2Keywords that score 1 or 2 need to be paused or removed. A score of 3, or no score yet, is fine.
  4. Few single-word keywordsAllowed only in cases like your own name. Phrases people really search work better.
  5. Two sitelinks, your own siteAds link to your approved website and aim at the area you serve.
  6. Search onlySearch partners and the Display Network stay off in Search campaigns. Answer Google’s program survey when it comes.

The weekly work,
off your desk.

When the ads, the website, the thank-you notes and the board report all land on one desk, text Grantkeeper the job. It works in the tools you already have, in English and Spanish.

Google Ad Grants

  • Build paused Search campaigns for a program, an event or a volunteer drive.
  • Check the click rate, conversions and keywords every Monday morning.
  • Pause a weak keyword or ad when you ask, and draft a better one.
  • Find searches that don’t fit your mission and block them.
  • Help you apply: eligibility check, Google for Nonprofits and the Ad Grants application.

Pages and posts

  • Draft event, volunteer, donation and program pages on your WordPress site.
  • Prepare ready-to-paste page text when someone else runs your website.
  • Write the newsletter from your calendar, with a Spanish version.
  • Turn one event into social posts and a printable flyer.
  • Draft holiday hours and an event post for your Google Business Profile.

Donors and giving

  • Match the week’s gifts to donors, skip refunds and repeats, and draft thank-you notes.
  • Prepare receipts from your giving records, ready for you to check.
  • Keep a list of gifts that still need a thank-you.
  • Prepare year-end giving statements and flag anything that doesn’t add up.

Volunteers and members

  • Draft next week’s volunteer roster and show the open shifts.
  • Write personal reminders for the people already signed up.
  • Draft a welcome for newcomers who asked to be contacted.
  • Look up a member or sponsor in SuiteDash before a call.

Board and funders

  • Put together the board packet: agenda, last month’s actions and a finance summary from your reports.
  • Turn meeting notes into draft minutes and an action list.
  • Keep a list of grant deadlines and reports due, with who is responsible.
  • Draft a funder report from your attendance and expense records, and list what’s missing.

Your week

  • A Monday brief: deadlines, open shifts, giving and anything stuck.
  • Read your calendar and point out events that still need a page or a post.
  • Add the next step to TickTick after each job.
  • Keep English and Spanish drafts in step, with the same dates and details.

Works with the tools
you already use.

No new system to move to. Grantkeeper connects directly to a few tools and works with the rest through its own browser login or files you export. We confirm what works with your accounts during setup. See the integration pages.

Also connects to these real-estate CRMs: Follow Up Boss and Lofty.

Set up with you.
Supported as you go.

We set Grantkeeper up around your organization: your website, your Google Ads account and the tools your team already uses. It runs on its own private server, and you choose its name. Then you text it like a coworker.

Churches, synagogues, mosques, temples and other houses of worship: the Care plan is free, including setup and AI use.
Other nonprofits: Care $99, Managed $199 or Full Service $349 a month.

What does Grantkeeper cost?

Churches, synagogues, mosques, temples and other houses of worship get the Care plan free, including setup and AI use, and can move up to Managed or Full Service at the normal price. Other nonprofits use the same three plans: Care is $99 a month, Managed $199 and Full Service $349, and AI use and support are included in each. Managed adds 1 hour of human support a month; Full Service adds 2 hours, a larger AI allowance, cybersecurity monitoring and deep access for our team, with a signed waiver. Setup is agreed before you start. See plans and pricing.

How does setup work?

We start with a conversation about your website, your Ad Grants account (or your plans for one) and the work that repeats every week. Then we set up your private server and connections, and you get a private page for logins and keys. Passwords never go in a text.

Can you promise we will get the grant, or keep it?

No. Google decides who is approved and whether an account stays active. Grantkeeper checks the rules every week and helps fix what it finds, but no one can promise approval, clicks or results.

Is our church eligible for Ad Grants?

Google sets eligibility. In the US it asks for 501(c)(3) status recognized by the IRS, or a documented place under a group exemption, and a church’s automatic exemption alone is not enough. Grantkeeper checks your records against Google’s current rules. If you are not eligible, it can still help with pages, follow-up and reports.

Does Grantkeeper turn ads on by itself?

No. It creates new campaigns, ads and keywords paused. You look them over in Google Ads and switch them on. It can pause a keyword, ad, ad group or campaign when you ask, and it cannot raise budgets or touch billing.

What if something stops working?

Tell us and we look at it. Every plan includes support: help when something is not working, answers to your questions, and fixes at no charge for anything we set up that breaks. Managed adds 1 hour of human support a month, as four 15-minute credits, and Full Service adds 2 hours, as eight credits. Each credit covers one 15-minute fix, change or question handled by a person. Support is open every day, 9 AM to 9 PM Eastern, and we reply within two support hours. On Care, individual hours are $175 an hour, billed in 15-minute increments ($43.75). Extra time beyond the included hours on Managed or Full Service is $125 an hour ($31.25 per 15 minutes).

Are these conversations connected to real accounts?

No. They are animated examples with a made-up organization. The numbers, pauses and drafts are worked out in this page’s memory. No account is connected, nothing is sent and nothing is published. More questions.
