TickTick

Keep the to-do list where you already look

Connect TickTick on your private page and Grantkeeper can read your tasks, add new ones with due dates and change them when plans move.

Text it like this

Fictional example.

You: Add tasks for the Bramble Oak report: numbers from Dana by Nov 14, draft by Nov 20, submit Nov 30.
Grantkeeper: Added 3 tasks to your Grants list with those dates. You also have 2 overdue there: thank-you calls and the van insurance card. Want those moved to Friday?

How it connects

Grantkeeper uses TickTick’s own connection for AI assistants. In TickTick on the web, open Settings, then Account, then API Token, create a token and paste it in the TickTick box on your private page. You can do this yourself, without us, and it never goes in a text. To disconnect, remove the token in TickTick.

Once it is connected, Grantkeeper reads your lists and tasks and can add or change them whenever you ask in your chat.

What it is good for

Most of the dates a director juggles arrive in documents. Grantkeeper reads an award letter and turns the report dates into tasks, turns the action items from board minutes into tasks with owners in the title, adds the SAM.gov renewal date, or lays out the week before an event as a short list of dated to-dos.

It also reads the other way. Ask "what is overdue?" or "what is due before the gala?" and it answers from your TickTick lists, then moves or completes tasks when you say so.

What it does not do

Grantkeeper changes tasks only when you ask. It does not text volunteers or staff about their tasks, and TickTick handles its own notifications the way you have them set. Scheduled texts from Grantkeeper, like a Monday brief, come from its own schedule and cannot read TickTick at that time, so ask in chat when you want the live list.

If you share lists with your team in TickTick, sharing and permissions stay in TickTick.

A typical week

Monday, ask what is due this week across your lists, and Grantkeeper reads them back grouped by day. Midweek, the board chair emails three action items; forward them and they become dated tasks. Friday, ask what slipped and move it with one text. TickTick stays the place you look, and Grantkeeper does the typing.

Tasks added to a list you share with someone in TickTick appear for them as well, the same as tasks you add yourself.

Prefer to keep everything in Grantkeeper? It keeps simple lists in your files too. TickTick is for when you already live in it.

Start with one list

Grantkeeper reads your TickTick tasks and adds or changes them when you ask, so report dates, follow-ups and event to-dos sit in one list.
