Board and reporting

The week ahead, on one screen

Text “Monday brief.” Grantkeeper reads your calendar, tasks and latest grant check and sends the week's priorities in a few lines.

What you send: “Monday brief,” plus any exports you have, such as this week's sign-ups or giving report.
What you send
What you get: A short text with deadlines, open shifts, gifts waiting for thanks, the grant check, stuck items and anything it couldn't read.
What you get

Fictional example.

Text it like this

Fictional example.

You: Monday brief, please.
Grantkeeper: This week: Tue 5 pm, foundation report due, 2 numbers missing. Wed, board packet to send. Thu, 2 pantry shifts open. Grant check: click rate 5.8%, 1 keyword flagged. Not read: giving, the last export is from Oct 9.

What goes in

Grantkeeper reads your calendar link for the week, your TickTick tasks, and the latest grant check if Google Ads is connected. Add the exports you have, such as this week's sign-ups or giving report, and it folds those in. The brief lists deadlines, open volunteer shifts, gifts waiting for thanks, items stuck since last week, and anything it couldn't read.

Each line has a day, an owner and a short reason. Totals come with their period and source, so “$1,240 in gifts this week” says which report it came from.

Fictional example: the brief lists Tuesday's foundation report with two numbers missing, Wednesday's board packet, two open pantry shifts on Thursday, the grant check's click rate with one flagged keyword, and a note that the newest giving export is nine days old.

Keep it short

The brief fits on one phone screen. When a list runs long, the text keeps the top five items and the rest go in a private link. If a connection failed or an export is old, the brief says so, rather than quietly leaving a section out.

Text “Monday brief” when you sit down, or ask us to schedule it next to your weekly grant check. Reply with what changed, and Grantkeeper updates the TickTick tasks to match.

On a quiet week the brief is short. On a busy one, items with a deadline come first, then anything waiting on another person, then the rest. Ask for a Spanish version, or one for a staff meeting with personal details removed.

The brief is only as current as what it reads. A fresh giving or sign-up export on Monday morning makes it much more useful.

What to keep in mind

Totals carry their source and period. A missing export is named, not skipped.
