Draft event and program pages on your own site

Grantkeeper reads your WordPress pages, saves new pages as drafts and publishes a draft you have checked. It cannot change or delete a live page.

Text it like this

Fictional example.

You: Make a page for the winter coat drive. Drop-off is Monday to Saturday, 9 to 5.
Grantkeeper: Saved a draft page with the drop-off hours, what you accept and a volunteer button. One blank: the drop-off address. Here is the preview link.

Four kinds of pages

Most nonprofit pages fit one of four layouts. An event page leads with the event, date, time and place, then a Register or Volunteer button. A volunteer page names the program, the tasks, the hours and the real requirements. A donation page says what the gift supports, with a link to your secure giving page. A program page says who it serves, where, when and how to get help.

Grantkeeper fills in only facts you have confirmed. Anything missing stays as a marked blank in the draft, so an unfinished detail cannot reach a public page. It can write an English and a Spanish version with the same dates, amounts and details.

Drafts, previews and publishing

The connection uses a separate WordPress user for Grantkeeper with the Editor role and an application password. It can list and read your posts and pages, save its own drafts, change those drafts and send you a preview link. Publishing one finished draft takes a one-time code you text back, and the draft must match the version you checked.

It cannot edit a page that is already live, and it cannot delete anything. For changes to a live page, it prepares the new text as a draft for you or your web person to copy in.

Pages that work for Ad Grants

Ads in a grant account must link to your own approved website. Google also looks for real mission content, clear contact details, pages that work on a phone and a form or giving link that works all the way through. Before it builds ads for a page, Grantkeeper checks the final public address for leftover blanks and the right button link.

The domain you give Google has to host the site itself, not just forward visitors somewhere else. Donate buttons go to your own secure giving page; Grantkeeper never collects card details. A Spanish page can be its own draft with its own address, which makes it easy to point a Spanish ad or sitelink at it.

Not on WordPress? Grantkeeper prepares the page text, ready to paste, for whoever runs your Wix, Squarespace or other site. Your web person checks the buttons and the phone layout, then sends back the final address for the ads.
